Breed: Pit Bull, Min Pin & Bulldog mix. We DNA’d him
Weight: 8 lbs currently. DNA says up to 40lbs full grown. He is short and long.
Housebroken: not yet
Kids: 9 and older should be just fine.
Other dogs: friendly with all other small dogs. He is growing longer but not taller. 
Cats: unknown, but since he is a puppy he should be fine
Housing: We are looking to put him in a house with yard or patio space
Personality: Checkers is a darling dog.  He is your typical puppy… lots of energy, very curious, mischievous, fun, friendly, still learning, needs structure and a stable routine. Most importantly he needs an owner with time on their hands to raise him appropriately. Checkers loves the water! He will bond quickly with his new owner and will easily be a 13-15 yr commitment
What we know: found as a stray and his owners were never located. He loves the water. Good play manners. Will play with any size dog
Medical: healthy, completely vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. Will be neutered when of age

Age: DOB 8/18/23

Breed: Shih Tzu/Fox Terrier mix
Weight: 18 lbs, full grown
Housebroken: yes, with an open door to backyard
Kids: adult home best. She came from a quiet home with a senior citizen
Other dogs: wants to be the only dog
Cats: cat safe
Housing: A house with access to backyard space will be her best match.
Personality: She is a nice dog. Currently, she is very confused and displaced at our rescue, making her a little nervous. Once she gets to know you, she settles down and will settle into your home, nicely.
What we know: She came from a home with a woman in her 80’s who could no longer take care of a dog. She can sit and lay down on command.

Kids: 9 and older should be just fine.
Other dogs: friendly with all other small dogs. Is fostered with another senior male & seems to enjoy the company
Cats: cat safe, currently fostered with cats
Housing: We are looking to put him in a house with yard or patio space
Personality: Elmer is a darling dog. He has a very happy-go- lucky personality. He loves going on walks but due to his grade 4/6 heart murmor its 2 houses max to pee, then in the dog stroller or carry sack for the rest of the walk. He loves to snuggle with you on the couch. He will bond quickly with his new owner. He’s a lover boy for sure.
What we know: found as a stray in terrible condition. We had a dental w/extractions done. He’sbeen neutered and completely vaccinated & microchipped.  His bloodwork is good. He is on Vetmedin for his 4/6 heart murmur and we have 6 months of meds to go with him. Elmer is good on leash & loves walks, but unfortunately he can not walk far due to the heart murmor. He wants to go, but you will need to carry him or put him in a doggie stroller for his own good. He loves to go out with you around town also, he’s very social and an attention grabber.
Medical: healthy, good bloodwork,  has had a dental w/extractions, completely vaccinated, dewormed, neutered and microchipped.

Housebroken: yes, in a house with a backyard. Will also use a potty pad.
Kids: 14 and older
Other dogs: friendly with other dogs while out and about, but will be best as an only dog. She can be toy possessive.
Cats: no cats
Housing: she needs housing with backyard space. Not appropriate for apartment/condo living.
Personality: she is a darling dog, and has a very sweet and very loving personality. She loves her person, is active & playful with her toys and has a very happy-go-lucky personality. This snorty little gremlin knows ‘sit’,  ‘down’, ‘shake,’ and ‘come.’  She will bond very easily with her new owner. She is all about pleasing her person. She is a total snuggle love bug.
The Breed: We highlight breed information here. Please familiarize yourself with the French Bulldog. Click here. French Bulldog. They can be expensive to own and are a brachycephalic breed. They are lap dogs who are heat intolerant and can have breathing issues if over exercised. They require facial fold cleaning, butt wiping, ear cleaning, and skin maintenance, especially during the hot, allergy ridden summer months. Please research what you are adopting.
What we know: Doing well in her foster home. Loves her toys and can sit on command. Is housebroken in a house with access to backyard. She is a tiny, compact Frenchie. Although Dory is very loving and snuggly,  she can be toy possessive. Because she does not like to share her toys and chew nones. Dory will be best placed as an only dog.

Breed: Mix Breed, he probably has several little breeds in him (Doxie, Chihuahua, Corgi?) He has no tail, short legs, and is low to the ground.

Housebroken: yes. He is currently fostered in a house with backyard access via doggie door.
Kids: teenage kids will be best for Poncho
Other dogs: he is currently in a foster home with 2 other dogs and doing good. He does love his toys and can be toy possessive sometimes. He can play rough with his toys too.

Housing: He will definitely need housing with backyard space. Not a good match for Apartment/Condo living
Personality: Poncho is a darling boy. He is very sweet and loving with his person. He just exudes personality. He is a little clown. He rolls around on his back and can walk on his hind legs and bunny hop. He is a very happy boy. He will settle in and bond very quickly with his new owner.
What we know: owner surrendered. He is very sweet. Good play manners with his person, good on leash, however long walks are not his jam. He is not a hiking/running partner dog. He simply prefers to play in his own backyard and keeps himself busy with his own toys. He has a very happy-go-lucky personality. Loves his toys and will chase whatever toy you throw. He sleeps in bed with his foster mom.

Personality: Kika is a sweet dog. She enjoys her daily walks. She loves her squeaker toys and will chase a ball for as long as you can throw it. She is very smart and will bond very easily with her new owner. Kika will sit on command for a treat. She just wants to be loved. Kika has a very happy personality.
What we know: Kika was abandoned by her prior owner. She is currently in foster care and we have been told, she is a perfect house dog. Her foster family currently takes her on four walks a day which she thoroughly enjoys.  She is also housebroken and using the doggy door with no issues. She has great house manners.
