Personality: Chico is a darling Pug. Very active, socialized, friendly, very playful, and loving.
What we know: Chico’s prior owner became ill and the extended family has surrendered him to rescue. Chico is a beautiful Pug. He has a sweet personality with a darling, expression filled face. He loves his walkies and crates well at night. We are trying to get him into a foster home.
Medical:  healthy. He’s been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

Housebroken: yes, with access to backyard space
Kids: 13 and older
Other dogs: she is a friendly girl, but will do best as an only dog. She wants to be your one and only.
Cats: no cats
Housing: she needs a house with backyard space. Loves having a yard. Will fetch her toys.
Personality: Desiree is a darling girl. She’s very sweet and very loving. She loves her person wholeheartedly. She is active & very playful with her toys. She will chase them, she will buckle them, sleep with them at night, but she doesn’t like to share her toys or her person with other dogs. She has a very happy-go-lucky personality. Will bond very easily with her new owner. Desiree just wants to be loved. She’s a really wonderful, happy, loving little Frenchie but she needs to be your one and only.

They are lap dogs who are heat intolerant and can have breathing issues if you over exercise them. They are high-maintenance dogs which is why there are so many in the shelters & in rescue. What we know: Desiree was used for breeding & discarded when they were done with her. She arrived blind in her right eye so, we had it removed. She has completely normal vision in her remaining eye. She has no current medical issues.
Medical: healthy, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped. Arrived with no sight in her right eye, so we had it removed. She has normal vision in her left eye. No medical issues. Skin/coat is healthy

Personality: she is a darling dog, and has a very sweet and very loving personality. This little gremlin loves her person. She is active & playful with her toys and has a very happy-go-lucky personality. Thos snorty little gremlin knows how to sit & is learning ‘down’ and ‘shake.’ She will bond very easily with her new owner. She just wants to be loved. She is all about pleasing her person.

Breed: Chihuahua
Weight: 7 lbs
Housebroken: yes
Kids: 8 and older
Other dogs: loves other dogs, no matter the age. We would like to place him with another dog if we could.
Cats: he is cat safe
Housing: home with backyard space will be easiest.
Personality: he is a happy boy, full of personality. He sleeps in bed with his foster mom. Kiwi’s tail never stops wagging. He spins and twirls when he’s excited to see you. He is very loving, wants to be your friend and constant companion. He is great on walks and a very stable guy. We adore him. A must meet!
What we know: Kiwi was pulled from the downey shelter where he was owner surrendered. We are shocked that anyone would get rid of this spectacular boy. He is exploding with personality! He spins, he twirls, and his tail wags a mile a minute. He is precious, a must see if you are looking for a small Chihuahua. We absolutely adore him.

Breed: Mix Breed, he probably has several little breeds in him (Doxie, Chihuahua, Corgi?) He has no tail, short legs, and is low to the ground.
Weight: 13 lbs
Housebroken: yes. He is currently fostered in a house with outside access via doggie door.
Kids: teenage kids will be best for Poncho
Other dogs: he is currently in a foster home with 2 other dogs and doing good. He does love his toys and can be toy possessive at times. He is fostered with 2 other dogs and does well.
Cats: no cats
Housing: He will definitely need housing with backyard space. Not a good match for Apartment/Condo living
Personality: Poncho is a darling boy. He is very sweet and loving with his person. He just exudes personality. He is a little clown. He rolls around on his back and can walk on his hind legs and bunny hop. He is a very happy boy. He will settle in and bond very quickly with his new owner.
What we know: owner surrendered. He is very sweet. Good play manners with his person, good on leash, however he is not fond of long walks. He is not a hiking dog. He simply prefers to play in the backyard and keeps himself busy with his own toys. He has a very happy-go-lucky personality. Loves toys, will chase whatever toy you throw. He sleeps in bed with his foster mom.
